Have you ever got the feeling of smiling happily & secretly in your heart before?

Well, all of you know i love kids. Loving them is one thing, leaving a deep impression in their heart is another.

I'm smiling now as i type this is cause mei mei and di di asked about me. Mei mei still remember what i told her almost 6 months back. I'm feeling guilty for not keeping my word but rejoicing at the same time cause she still remembers.

Never underestimate kids.. Cause they have elephants' memory! ^^ Cant wait to see them soon!

I dislike being forgetful & careless, in fact, it's a "sin" to me.

Don't get me wrong, i'm not a perfectionist. Things that matters to you, you will remember, you will take notice, isn't?

One of my resolutions of 2011 is to be more alert, take more notice of my surroundings, my loved ones and my valuables.

This week was a precious lesson for me. But thank God, He is ever faithful. I never wanna get the shock of losing or misplacing things ever again.

Enough said - my point is: If you spend a little more time paying attention to your surroundings, remembering what happened & the needs, be more alert for some little actions, won't your world be a better place for you & your loved ones? Yes.. Your world. You are doing a little more for yourself & your loved ones. :-) Be it valuables or people, play a part.

Today marks the happiest day of this great man of God, Fandy.

I must say he is one of the most humble men i've ever met so far in my life. Oh, btw, he is the youth pastor in the most hip, committed & fastest-growing church in GBI Bandung.

During SOT, he always avail himself for mission trips to different parts of Indo as a interpretor, and there's how i got to know another good buddy! I remembered how humble and serving he is during the days of the mission trip, the way he preached, engaged the people, pray fervently for the sick in the church, led P&W, stay calm during the church black-out. Every word he spoke, he spoke with conviction to the hearts of the congregation. I was deeply touched during the session even though i was there for missions. I will never forget that very moment.

It has been a great friendship with you Fandy! Wishing you a blissful marriage with Lydia. Though Sk & I cant make it to Bandung this time as we got 2 (got-to-go) weddings to attend tomorrow. But still, we want to let you know we are celebrating with you in Singapore as well! We are so excited for your next phrase of life! You have been a tremendous blessing to us & we miss you! See you soon!

My 1st gel nails experience

I went for my 1st-ever gel nails on 24/12/10! I really enjoyed the whole process.

Girls, you will understand what i mean by *enjoy*. Usually when i finished my manicure, i will be afraid of taking out my wallet & pay, hold my bag, wear my shoes etc.... But after the gel nails, you wont need to be afraid of your nails being smudged, or chipped. Its instantly dry, just like that.

Waiting on God

Life has been really awesome. I can't stop thanking God every day, hour, min and sec. He is just so good to me!

Recently i was reminded of a verse that God spoke to me through SOT,

"If you love Me, you will love My Word."

I must say that that's not an easy thing to do or commit. Many times during BS/preaching of the word in svc and CG, when someone ask us: "Are you willing to lay down your life for God's word, reading the bible eveyday, praying to God with day? From today onwards, would you make that commitment?" I'm sure all of us will shout to God, YES I WILL! AMEN!

But after that session, most of us will be hit back to reality... Read the word? Pray? Fast? Instead of ending the word with an exclamation mark, we ended the words with a question mark... I'm one of you as well. And i seriously hate that feeling.. And felt very dishearten many times.

I have no problems with praying.. I love talking to God man! :D But reading the Word... I struggle with my sleeping hours at times, with sch and work burying my days - these are just excuses for not reading the bible!

Fasting.. Well i love food, in fact im a foodie gourmet. I love to savor good food. To put away (good) food for Him, it's not easy either. In fact, when the Devil come and steal your integrity and loyalty and commitment towards God, he will do it real hard!

Every word that we told God, He remembers. When we say, God i will pray & read the bible everyday, fast every Wed, God is waiting for us in Heaven to speak to Him, to reveal THE Rhema Word to us, when we fast, He is ready to charge for us for miracles.

Back to my revelation..I struggle with all these question marks and mixed feelings too. But what keeps me going is this:

"If you love Me, you will love My Word."

I keep confessing and meditate on it. And day by day.. i make the commitment to God. No longer He waits on me, i WANT to wait on Him. :)

Even though i've never met this wonderful lady face to face in my life, she definitely left a footprint in my heart. Her values are what many people would say, but never act on it. Her generosity, kindness, humility, going the extra mile, smiles, intelligence, sense of humor, sacrifices are all tattooed in our hearts.

Personally, i learnt a lot from her and are still learning more. I always wanted to the best girlfriend. Haha, i mean who doesn't want your boyfriend/ husband to be the happiest man on Earth. :P But there're many times i know i didn't make it.

Through her, i learnt to show more support in Sk's businesses. It's not easy to take up the responsibility of owning and partnering 2 businesses at one go. Still, we thank God for the great opportunity given. And the simplest thing that i can do is to show me support in the things he do.

Counting down to 2 days to the start of October, my favorite month!

All thanks to my best friend, best buddy, best study partner!

He is always there to remind me of my big day. I know it's gonna be awesome and i'm looking forward to it! I'm really grateful him. He is always there for me, no matter what happens..

It had been a tough time for the both of us for the past 2 weeks, but he never gives up on me. Always demonstrate patience, love and care to me. There were times that i wanted to give up, but he always teach me "keep on keeping on". i love him to bits!

Recently, we were sharing about how much we've changed.

I guess this is one of the oldest photo that we took together, and i remember it was during Valentine's Day!

And now.....

"For two are better than one." It's so true. During our journey, we tried to help each other "makeover" and i must say Dear is really a good "judge". He is always so encouraging in what i wear everyday. Whenever i tied up or pin my hair or do something different, he will always praise me.

Right now, both of us are trying to save up for our future.. and at the same time, both of us need to slim down, we are watching very closely what we are eating. I seen a phrase very interesting: "We are what we eat".
Both of us also need to take some time to do some exercise. Dear suggested that he will teach me basketball in the weekends. It's gonna be so funnn!

Savings

I was blog-walking and read a very convicting post on savings, building our barns.

2010 had been a year of travelling for dear & me. We have been traveling almost every month! And that's really a lot. Though we travel to the neighboring countries, but to think of it, it's a lot of money...

Firstly, we went JB for umpteen times.. Though the spendings may not be a lot, but to think of it. If every trip i spend about $50, 10 trips will be $500. Definitely, i had been there about 10 trips this year.

Other than JB, we went Batam twice & Melaka twice this year.

Our spendings and accommodation could add up to a total of $300 per trip. Even though some trips are sponsored, i still think we took it for granted. :P

All these numerics are only per person average spendings, and i think i spend even more than that. :P I counted, if add up both of our spendings, its about $4.4K!!!!! GOSH!

I mean, if we went BKK or Bali or Phuket, that figure may be worth it.. But......

Ok, we are still in the midst of planning of going KL end of Nov & a company retreat. :(

Both of us made a commitment, starting in October, we are going to pledge 10% of our income for our future savings. It may not be a lot for me, but still, it does matter...

Please dont jio me to any where else out of this red dot anymore. HAHA!

No more buffets.. (alright, maybe once in a while :P) No more fine dinings etc... Everyday noodles! Ah! Just joking... HAHA! Ok, maybe lesser kois. HEHE!

Been so long since i left my footprints here.. Wonder how many readers are still left in this spider web. :P

Anyway, still, i will jot down some memories here.

I'm so so so excited for October.. Yes, partly is my 19th Bday! Dear have been reminding me almost everyday for my big day. Really excited what he planned & prepared for me.

I'm really thankful for Dear man! I've never been so excited for my bday before. It had always been "just-a-day", nothing special. Maybe just a cake and some good food cooked by my grandma or a dinner outside. But, now YOU have made my big day so big! :) I'm totally loved!

Another reason why i'm looking forward to October is that the verdict is going to be out. It will be a new start for all of us. And i guess, it's closer to the day we are separate from each other. I'm kinda looking towards a new start though :D

October will also be a brand new month, things have to start afresh too! My term will also be starting October, another reason to rejoice in! The 2 modules are out, Principles of Marketing & Principles of Economics! I'm really looking forward to what i can learn from the modules!

October will also be our 34month anniversary! Time flies.

When i'm feeling down..

One of the things that i will do when i'm really frustrated and venting out my anger, is "swallowing" soda water fast and quick. Be it coke, pepsi, f&n drinks, as long as its gassy, it will clear my anger. If you spot me doing that, beware & becareful...

Another thing i will do is drawing circles. I know some of you do this when you are bored :P When im really down, i draw til the whole paper turns another colour.

And of course, i will cry. I'm just a being. I've feelings and i do get hurt at times. I'm a lady, i'm sensitive and does feel insecure at times.

At times when i'm weak, He is strong. Goodbye, i will not cry to/for/at/in front of you. Forever goodbye!

I'll seek the Lord of my life.

Heartaches

I think i've got to settle my heart a little bit.

Things are coming back after rounds and rounds, eventually, "it" hasn't give up and came back.

To me, God first, next family.

It was really a huge disappointment for us. The 3 of us gave her a chance and she literally took it for granted. It will hurt our heart. The day before the court, i had a nightmare, i dreamt that she aborted her baby, and went back to her past. I remembered the dream vividly, it was so real, so real that i cried.

I told God: "Lord, i pray with all my heart, mind and soul, she will change. Please give her another chance, please prove that she can do it. I pray that she will never go back to her past, for You are the future."

Indeed, for the past few months, she finally displayed the love of a mom. All of us were getting along well and things went smoothly. We went for dinner, send her for check ups, went to visit my grandmom together.

But i guess, our hearts turned into rocks towards her now. It really hurts so bad for us. Sometimes, when i think about that, tears flowed.

Right now, she wanna play tricks with my dad and us. Oh well, God sees.

I wanna continue to pray for her, for i know God loves her. I also wanna pray for my sisters and I. All of us know that its not easy, but when tough times come, its for the tough man/woman! We are going to come out strong.

I thank God for my sisters and friends around us, always there to support and listen. Especially Dear, he dotes my sisters so much, behave like a big brother towards them. He is always there for us.

I thank God for Holy Spirit. When i was in the Bible School, i remember Pst Ming always told us, Don't you forget to give thanks to Holy Spirit too. There are too many of us who always forgotten about the Holy Spirit, it's Him who give us the wisdom and reminders!

Thank You God, J & Holy Spirit. The 3 pillars of my spiritual walk.

I'm growing tired of people who are selfish & self-centered. Their world only consist of themselves, always put themselves first before others.

Pardon me, i'm really too mad about it. I'm not mad about the fact that selfish people exist around me, just the fact that they are so close to me. I see them almost everyday.

How can they ever put themselves first in front of the people who are important to them or their close ones? Or should i say blood relation?

Sighhhh.. This is getting too much.

When i hope for a change in things, things always get worsen. :(

I've just completed watching 3 dramas!

All thanks to my iPhone! Whenever i'm waiting for someone, travelling, i will always seek my iphone and catch up with the dramas! All 3 of these are recommended to watch, all superbly duperbly good!

Rookies' Diary is super funny! i'm still waiting for the complete set of drama though. It's definitely a must-watch comedy for all army boys. Hehehe.

What a fruitful Sunday (Family-day)!

Been some time i spend some quality time with my sisters. So happy that we make the picnic come true!!

Dear and I spent almost 2 hours preparing these yummy food! So satisfied!

We also bought along the star of the family!

And i was 90% successfully shot! :P

The MAN for the day! & everyday we spend!

We also saw Pst Ming! So cool.

Last of all, we are so happy that we bought a kite which width is more than my height! Haha!

Health is so important...

#1 Yesterday i just received a call from mommy saying that my auntie may get cancer, according the reports from the doctor.

In my entire life, i have not met across any of my relatives who gotten cancer. She is the first, and boy, i hope she will be the last too. Mommy told me to bring my sisters along to visit her.. I could remember she used to dote us a lot when all of us were younger, always getting sweets and snacks for us. She used to open a minimart, and we love to go there with my mom! We never fails to bring back 2 full bags of tidbits! When my mind was filled with all these images, my heart sank...

Mommy told me that Aunt has to undergo an operation that the doctor gotta cut 50% of her tongue out :( I almost cried on the phone.

Nobody wants to get cancer, nobody wants to be sick and get people around them worried. I'm praying for her every day and night for the cancerous cells to go away, Jehovah Rapha! Please help me say a prayer too.

#2 Last night Dear had very dark colour stools, he suspected that it was black stools. I was dead worried when he told me this. He has a history of stomach bleeding almost 2 years back. I never wanna that to be back again, to be so worried for him and don wanna see him in CCU ward ever again.

I accompanied him to NUH last night for a check up. Thank God there're no more black stools! For those who expressed your concerns, thank you so much!! You are our angels last night :) Thank you for your encouragements too!

The point that i wanna bring across is that stay healthy! What you eat today may be a harm for your future! :)

We are stuck in Batam cus of one major mistake that the hotel made! It's super sian man! :( Argh!

All the ferry tickets from all outlets are booked for the day. And now, we have to stay one more night here. Will never come back to this hotel again!

I've also decided to defer one of my module. I guess it's good to spend more time with my cg mbrs, friends and sisters. Good Pressure: When you are in a competitive yet non-judgemental and non-prejudicial environment, you want to be like those around you. You become motivated and inspired and gain self-control.
Bad Pressure: When you are in a judgemental and prejudicial environment and there is no competition you become depressed and unmotivated. You lose self-control.
No Pressure: When you are free and there is no competition, you do what you feel. Your self-control is based on how you feel and since there is no one to compare yourself to, you may be less motivated or more motivated depending on the urgency of whatever you are doing.

Self control has control. If you lose your self control, you lose the ability to control yourself. Words that we speak and the actions that we do, self control matters.

I used to lose myself very easily, things that i speak or do, nothing goes to my mind first. I act it first before i can think about it, which is really bad.

Can you imagine, you had hurt someone badly, and you lose the ability to think about it before hurting him/her? I never want to be like that. Even though i may be unhappy or angry with the person, i will never want to give in to my feelings/ emotions.

Many times, if you loses self control, you will gain a bad friend - guilt.

If you are reading this post, i urge you to think twice before acting on something. Have self control and think of what will happen next, who will suffer/ get hurt, does it benefit you... Don't let guilt be in the way of your life.

A quiet moment...

I was reminded of this verse on a quiet journey home on Dear's car. We were both too tired to talk and enjoying the quiet moments. It seldom happen though, especially with the chitty-chatty me around. :P

However, i still thank God for moments like these, it's moments like these that i can take some time off to do some reflections.

I realised that i've been easily impatient these days, easily pissed off and will tend to lose my temper often. I'm no longer the patient and cheerful girl (on the inside) anymore. Perharps i focus on more putting up a facade to people whom i'm not so close to. But to the closer ones, i may "show face".

The bible says, Guard your heart.. and from then on.. i kept meditating... You gotta guard your heart..

Someone ever told me when i was being ministered in Pst Mike's service, "Guarding your heart is very important, and you gotta meditate on it daily. If not, it will open a doorway for the unwanted habits to be in you." I never forget the moment, the Rhema word that came forth...

Things are getting difficult at work, seems like politics are arising, i'm telling myself daily:

Today marks the 3rd death anniversary of my beloved dear grandma.

My emotions were a bit unbalanced too. Obviously she is still in my heart. No one understands how much grief we suffered from her sudden death.

I can never forget what happened that day.. She called everyone to make sure that they are alright, ensure my family ate well for dinner though she was weak, make sure everything is tidy at home, but left without a word.

Through her, I learnt that words speak life and death. Through her, I learnt what is love sacrifice. She is like a mother to me. Through her, I learnt mannerism, ethics and values.

I thank God that I didn't hold any regrets after her death & thank God that He placed this powerful woman in my life.

I miss you, ah ma. You are forever in my heart.

Elaine & I went to try out something new = Princess Manicure! Since i'm a princess, i should do some princessy things! HAHA!

We managed to find a home based nails palace, Pretty Inn. It's located at boon lay and Dear dropped us there. Since the next day will be Wei & lice's wedding, i don mind spending a bit more for my nails to look good.

It only cost me $36 for the Princess Manicure. =)

Happy Birthday Dear!

We started out the day with a small surprise at IMM. After fetching me to IMM, i quickly sped off to get his present at Challenger.. It's one of the most expensive gift i ever gave to someone else. =P

Next, we went to somewhere which he never went to - Underwater World. The last time i went there was so long ago that i can't even remember the place vividly.

We took a super expensive photo there. LOL. $16!

Da-dah!

(thank God we look good in the photo) haha

And we went to the Dolphin Lagoon for the seal and dolphin show!

After the joy of watching the animals, some of our close friends and i prepared a surprise for him at Ikoi Japanese Restuarant.. And yes, he was SURPRISED! :)

We were glad that we managed to get a special room in the restaurant, cus i booked it 2 months ago. LOL!

The settings of the room is very nice and unique. Really feel like i'm in Japan dining. In addition, it's a $33++ buffet dinner! It will definitely quench your hunger for Jap food! =)

If any of you are looking for a place to gather or celebrate your birthday, can come and look for me.. :D

I wanna dedicate this post to my awesome and wonderful family that God have given me.

This is a family who i'm really thankful and grateful to HIM! Even though, there are always ups and downs, but whose family doesnt? =) What doesn't kill us, make us stronger! And here we are, standing stronger by each circumstances.

Firstly, I thank God for my sisters! They are always that rocking-hot. Haha! I can't live my life without them man. Without them, i will so lonely and bored. Their laughters and arguing always enlighten the whole family. They are just awesome sisters, who never fail to take care and look out of one another.

Oh yes, i grew up with them. Look at this picture, i was the tallest!

But now... Haha!

Pigs, thank you for always being there for me. Whenever i know that no one listens, both of us will always open up your ears for me and hear me. =) love you!

Haha! this is my super playful and naughty bro. He's super cute. We hardly get to see him.. So i must say the 3 of us really dote him a lot. Whoever try to scold him, always get scolded by us first. And i believe that SK encounter this several times. haha! His best talent is to act "kelian" and cry. Seeing him cry really hurts. Whenever we see him, we will always buy him presents. I wonder how many dozens he have now. :P

This is my Daddy, on the furthest right. I may not see him so often.. and i miss him badly. He is always out of Singapore for work. Whenever he's back, he will definitely complain how messy the house is. HAHA! Daddy, just wanna say that i love you! Thank you for all the sacrifices!

Haha! My mom!! She is giving birth this September, so pardon her tummy! LOL! I have a young mummy. I love her, and she is very open-minded but superstitious. Sometimes, it gets really funny. I love to see her changes. (if you know me well, you will know :P) I've been praying for her daily. And i thank those who had been doing the same with me. I really appreciate that. Mummy! Just wanna tell you that you are a great mom, no matter how people see, i choose to look at the positive. =) You are love!

And i have a very big family! Everyone of them are awesomely-awesome people! They are one of the most loud, united and funny people around. With them around, you don't have to frown at all. I'm looking forward to the next gathering with them! =)

Rocky Master!

This will be one of my favorite hang-out place near my school - Rocky Master.

Sk and I gave a try here after our exams that day, just to fill our stomach as we were rushing for time. Since this cafe is only a few steps from my school, or rather the nearest, we just went it...

To our surprise, the food is very affordable and good! Sk got the recommendation from the waiter and tried the Mexican chapatti, and i tried the Puff (Curry Chicken) and a Soup of the Day (Creme of Mushroom).

I would rate the soup a 7/10. I love Creme of Mushroom with Shitake Mushrooms in it, and for this soup, it has! And the garlic bread is a perfect combination with the soup!

Next served was Dear's Mexican chapatti. It looks like KFC's at first sight, but when we tried it, it was totally opposite! Haha! Very delicious and special.

And for mine, initially we thought that it was just curry puff. To our surprise, there's ~~soup~~ gravy in it. It really yummy!

We only spend $10 per pax there, including 1 drink. Its totally worth the try! =)

Sk got a booth at Beer Fest 2010 for selling and promoting his magic props. It was really a great opportunity to get some experience through this. I'm really proud of what my Dear is doing now - setting up his business and wanting to penetrate the marketplace. :)

I'm also so thankful of what God is doing in his life, bringing the right young, dynamic & successful businessman into his life.

And we met the Muttons at Beer Fest too. We quickly grab ~~them~~ the chance and took a photo with them! YAY!

There are so many news about my church now.. But still, i trust my pastors and the leadership. Never have i one day regretted attending CHC til now.

I've been in this church for almost 7 years. This is the place where i grow up with. This is my family. Though the person who brought me to know God is not in church anymore, i'm still standing firm with my loyalty and trust towards God and my church.

Seriously, it's a big joke if i don't voice out here. This is my church, where you are reading, this is my blog. I have my say.

I've been reading the newspapers for the past few days to update myself of what's happening. I didn't purposely went to buy, but my mom will buy.. All i can say is that, i'm utterly disappointed with the reporters, especially 联合晚报。 There's a new saying.. 联合晚报？联合乱报，乱乱报！

I can't imagine they have no updated news and dig out all the "used" and "old" news to make sure they reach the number of pages for the newspaper. Media should be the most updated pillar in society. Yet, the photos that they used for my Pastor and Sun is... don know how many donkey years ago..They are totally tabloids newspaper.

Oh well, all i can say is that, i will pull myself to fight the war through prayers. If you don know anything about my Pastor, please do not think that you know him. 7 years in church, his humility, wisdom, care, kindness and love for people impacted me alot.

I never want to miss his preaching at all times, unless i'm really unwell or i'm overseas. No matter what, i'm standing with the church and Pastor. We serve a mighty and fair God, He will bring us out of the valley together. I love CHC and my pastors!

5 days of transformation through 1 conference! It's really a privilege to have all the world class pastors to join us this time! I'm really impacted with the revelations that I recieved. All the sweat, eye bags and queueing is worth it. We really queue up very early to ensure that we are able to get in hall 8. And thankfully, for all the services that I went for, we went into hall 8!

The presence of God is even more incredible. I have never felt so touched at all. Tears just rolled down when I worship and hear the testimonies.

I'm really so so thankful that I'm able to attend this conference. I'm even more thankful for what my pastor, Pastor Kong sacrificed for the church! :)

Hair Curls

Oh! If you haven't heard from me, i bought a double function hair straightener/curler recently, which cost me a BOMB! It's on promotion for students, for a travel pack (small straightener/curler) & a big straightener/curler, it cost about $400! But i bought it at $240!

I bought it with Dear, and he supported me to buy also. haha!

To me, it's worth it. It'd been a long time ever since i wanna curl my hair.. Even though i wished for a permanent perming, i don't mind to have both straight and curl hair any time i like! =) It's really fun exploring and playing with the tool with Xueting. We had fun playing each others hair. Keke.

So on this special occasion for my family, i decided to curl my hair for one day. And i love my hair! However, gotta practice more and get a hang of it, so i can doll up my hair.

Everyone says that curls suit me. This really tempt me to curl my hair permanently..

Thinking if i should wake up 20 mins earlier everyday to doll up my hair for AC... Hmmm..

P.S. i need to slim down NOW! been eating loads and loads of late night suppers, all because of night classes. :( Dear is already in the process of slimming, i needa catch up with him ~~soon,~~ NOW!

My day started with a number of frustrations.-Can't even attend AC day 1, missed the grand opening, this really made my day sour :(

I overslept for work! Supposed to be in office at 10am, but i woke up at 10am! All thanks to my iPhone which died on me. =( Was super angry and pissed. I bathed as fast as i could, half-dried my hair and left the house with only BB cream and concealer on my face. Needless to say, cab is the only way out! Was praying in the lift for a cab. Thank God, less than one minute, i managed to flag a cab! *Phew*

My phone died, i can't call my colleagues at all. It's the worst thing that can ever happen man..

Within 10 mins, i reached the office. As fast as i could, i quickly take out my charger and re-energized my phone. Quickly gave Dear a call to let him know i'd reached office safely. Lo and behold! My line was deactivated by M1 as i didn't pay off my bills! =(

I was even more pissed, quickly gave M1 a call to re-activate my line first and will make the payment tonight. What a day to start with, even before i start my work.. I was really in the mood of nothing, hoping nothing comes in the way again..

As i was quietly talking to God in my heart, someone opened the door slowly and shouted *SURPRISE*!! It was DEAR! He was with a bouquet of roses, card and a box of heels! I was really surprise and nearly cried! He's so sweet!

God really answers prayers, Dear really made my day!

The Peri-Peri nice chicken!

Yippie, it's food again! xD

We went to Nando's to try out the yummi-licious chicken. All thanks to Yus & Firman who recommended us this restaurant at Bugis Junction. They had several outlets in Australia, that's why the both of know about this.. You can also check out here: Nandos'

We went together with Yus, Firman & Aleeza. Of course with the jokers, we laughed til everyone was looking at us! I love to hang with them!

The extra hot Peri-Peri sauce is not really that spicy, it's more sour compared to spicy. Overall, the experience is not bad, but it's a bit pricey. It's about $50 for 2 pax.You should try if you want to go for something special! :)

After so many posts on food, it's time for us to slim down again! Less than 2 months it's Wei & Alice's Wedding, big day for them and loss weight for us. Gonna start by minus-ing all the carbo stuffs! Looking forward to a slimmer and leaner of me! YAY!

We were invited to Wen's 22nd Birthday Bash at Zenso Cafe - a Jap & Thai cafe. I like the ambiance and food. The Tom Yam Soup & Green Curry Chicken is the best! Tom yam soup is even better than Bali Thai. :D

Even though it's a small gathering, i enjoyed the fellowship of team 25! You guys rawks!

Finally we had our ever first New York New York try at Jurong Point! Both of us want to try the food since....... (dinosaurs laid their eggs!)

Dear also took up the NYNY challenge! The meal is supposed to be for 4 pax, a super big 9inch burger (yes, bigger than our face!) and many many many many fries around it. The meal can be my breakfast, lunch & dinner. Haha!

He didnt win the challenge but the both of us enjoyed the experience there. The staffs are very friendly and service-oriented. And we got a free candy floss!! :)

This is our first agenda on the first day of May, attending Andrea's first birthday! We bought for her a pair of lovely and pinkish hello kitty walking shoes! Super cute and i love it. Too bad it doesnt have my size. :P

I also ordered Quarter Pounder with cheese at Mac. It was my first try though. I kinda of like it, however the calories and the meat that they use, really makes me hesitate if i want to order it, sometimes. haha! But, you can give it a try :)

After the birthday celebration, we went ahead to dua-gu's house for Mothers' Day celebration. There were really a spread of food. Had some snacks and talked to my relatives for a while. I love spending time with them, laughter and jokes are always in the air.

After a few hours of quality time, Dear and I went to collect the birthday cake and collect some stuff for the BBQ. We rushed to Wei's house after that to prepare some of the food and start the fire.

Like what P.K preached last week, we lived by the promises & revelations that God gave us individually. This is one of the many promises that i lived with. It definitely lift up all my challenges and bring me to my victories.

Poor Ah Girl..

Just brought Ah Girl to the vet. Recently she had been (busily) shedding, and we (busily) vaccuming the floor & (busily) brushing her.

Felt sad and broken-hearted for her, but at the same time pissed off by her shedded fur lying all around the house. All my clothes are sticked with bits if her fur here & there. Arghh!

But still, Dear reminded me today of what I've said before: "To us, Ah Girl may only be nothing, but to Ah Girl, we are her everything". After hearing this reminded, I felt really guilty. So many commitments, so little time. And sometimes when I get home, I didn't even spend 5mins with her. She must be very upset with me.

After bringing her to the vet, seeing how fearful she is when an outsider touch her & kept clinging to us, she really means alot to me. I love u Ah Girl!

My new term had started on Monday and i've so many things that i can be happy about!

- I've known most of my classmates as we were in the same class, just a few new faces.
- Same class as my best friends in school!
- Project mates have been set and i love the number of 5!
- Learning 2 more new modules to get my certificate officially!
- Lesser classmates = better environment to study.
- Set my plans and goals for the next 3 months.

I simply in love with my class, classmates & school! :)

I've also pledge the names to set my focus to reach out to. Praying for every one of their salvation. God is good all the time! Amen!

My results out!

I got back my results through email today! Was super kan chiong about it.. When i was opening the email, i quickly gave Dearie a call. Both of us were super nervous while waiting for the results to load.

I quickly scrolled to our I/C numbers and took a glimpse look.

I got a (C) Credit for Accounting and (D) Distinction for Management! I was super happy.

I'm also very happy for Dearie too! He got (D) Distinction of Management and a (P) Pass for Accounting. Both of us worked super hard for both of this modules! Truly, whatever we sow, we shall reap! The time that we sow is definitely worth it for the results, our future!

To all my friends who had done well, CONGRATS, you deserve it! To those who didn't do that well, DON"T GIVE UP! Continue to rock on, cause i believe in you babe! (you will know that i'm talking about you)

Looking forward to the start of my another 2 modules starting today!!

Yayness! Our first movie of the month, Clash of the Titans. We caught this movie with Cashrun&co. last friday. It was definitely a nice movie for me, except for the 3D part. It was really a disappointment, definitely not worth the money and it makes no difference if you are wearing the 3D effect spects. :) But overall, a great movie to catch.

After the movies, some of us went to chill out at Üdders along Bukit Timah Road. It opens til 12am, super cool to have ice creams cafe opened til late night.

Dear and I share this waffle with ChocoMash ice cream on top. As usual, the ice cream is great, but our first time having the waffle, it doesnt taste really that good.

After that, we went to Wei's house for some games!

Recarnation & Dreams

Dear, Bertram and I was conversing over a dinner after running some errands in school.

Bertram is a wise and full of knowledge guy whom Dear knew him in camp and he reads alot of human behaviorial acts. I'm amazed how he manage to know my feelings from my behavior during dinner. Ha!

So he popped a question for the both of us: What if there is really the process of recarnation, will I want to go through it?

Well, of course both of our answers turned out to be the same, "We are Christians and we don't believe in recarnation.."

Bertram asked again: "Now what if it really exist, putting away religion, there is really this process?"

Dear's answer was: "If recarnation is really true, and people are given the chance to know their past, then most of us will be living in our past. Worse case, if one's past is really terrible but living now, one carry an awesome dream, may be crushed." And he gave an example of our friend.

I find it to be very true. Our past may not be so glorious compared to now, and if we hang on to our past, our living dreams will not be fufilled at all.

Dreams are so powerful, they either build us a more fufilling & motivated life, or dreams and destroy our hope. Let's dream big and be motivated again! :)

Pissed with SMa

I'm getting more and more pissed at how SMa produce their services to students.

Recently, i got an email for FT school schedule. It looks totally abnormal to me as i'm taking PT. I made my final decision of taking PT, paid PT fees and even studied PT for the past few months. How am i supposed to be belong to the FT category?

Not only that, i've to go down to school during my term break just to submit one piece of paper - my course transfer form, email a formal official letter to transfer course. This happens just because of the sale consultant did not do her job properly. I mean... she could save all of my time and hassle if she did her job. Where have their excellence gone to?

Sigh, i hope that this kinda things will not ever happen again.

I wonder how many of you will take a step to feel how your friends or family members felt in certain situations.

Recently, I felt a little bit letdown thinking if people do really understand me or are they just making their assumption. It hurts when you see the one closest to you, whom you respected, seek for advice don't even ask for an explaination and come into a conclusion.

People often say, "Let time be the healing process". I guess in this situation, time is the object that I wanna stop. As time goes by, it's even more difficult to solve a problem. Let's take an example: When you have a problem in a friendship, you would want to talk out with your friend and solve it asap. Ypu wouldn't want to waste time and let the wound worsen.

I may look cheerful and nothing seems wrong in the outside, I'm also trying to change deep inside of me.

I believe that things are gonna change for a better. I'm gonna fight a good fight. God knows, understands, and He will see me through. Amen.
